Out on December 21st Crown Shyness part 1, a music dialogue between two artists: Giulio Aldinucci and HATEFISh.
The performance was recorded seven years ago in Siena for the FieldSquare project, in collaboration with the FuoriCampo Art Gallery
The idea by Francesco Poggianti and Maso Ricci consisted in a sound reflection on the place, a meeting between different music sensibilities, within the close space of the art gallery. The result was two performances with the following guests: Giulio Aldinucci and Roberto Paci Dalò. Crown Shyness is a natural phenomenon observed in some tree species, in which the crowns of fully stocked trees don’t touch each other, forming a web of lightning-like gaps.
In musical terms, Crown Shyness can be seen as a performance where two artists -respecting each other space and freedom - create a new sound aesthetic. Crown Shyness part 1 and part 2 are the titles of the recordings by: HATEFISh – Giulio Aldinucci and Francesco Poggianti – Roberto Paci Dalò. Crown Shyness part 1, featuring Giulio Aldinucci and HATEFISh, will be released on 21 December 2021, exactly seven years after the recording.
The four musicians involved in the performances, together with other artists (Donics, Francie, Kraftzug e Mac Tire) have recently created the WildForest collective.
